The Center for the Arts has received some complimentary tickets from the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra for the HKUST community.

Official tickets of "The Composer is Dead" can be redeemed on the concert day (Sep. 21, 2018) from 7:30 p.m. at the reception desk to be located next to the doors of auditorium, Tsuen Wan Town Hall.

  • For HKUST staff members & students only

  • Please use HKUST email address to register

  • You are advised to register for two tickets maximum. Please make sure to use the tickets.

  • For redeeming the official tickets, HKUST members need to show their staff / student ID card and Eventbrite registration confirmation email to the reception desk for identification.

Breaking news from the concert hall - the composer is dead!

The Composer is Dead is a modern-day Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, in a murder-mystery setting. The audience gets to learn about the different instruments in an orchestra. The programme also features other detective-themed music, such as the Pink Panther, and different Sherlock soundtracks. English narration with Chinese surtitles.
